Not sure where to start? You’re in the right place!

If you aren’t already familiar with the services we offer, you can first find an overview at the link below:

Still not sure where to start?
That’s okay!

You’ll want to begin with either an
evaluation or a consultation.

  • ~ EVALUATION ~

Evals are designed for owners interested in a GROUP TRAINING CLASS

    If you are:

    1) Hoping to do a group class, but not sure if your dog will react appropriately to a group setting, or if he’ll be anxious, reactive, or otherwise disruptive

or 2) Planning to do a group class, but have already completed training elsewhere and are looking to bypass some of our usual class prerequisites…

Then an Eval is the perfect place to start!

    COST:
    $75 (30 minutes)

After completing the Eval, a $50 credit will be added back to your account for up to 2 months, to be applied to the class or training program you sign up for.

  • ~ CONSULTATION ~

Consults are designed for those interested in a PRIVATE TRAINING PROGRAM
(Private Lessons, Day Training, or Board & Train)

    If you are:

    1) In need of training, but not sure which private program would be best for your dog

    2) Planning to do training, but wanting to meet in person before committing

or 3) Just generally have questions you want to address before committing to a program…

Then a Consult is the perfect place to start!

    COST:
    $125 (1 hour)

Most private training programs already include the cost of a Consultation. If you book a private training program within 2 months of the Consult, your full payment will be applied towards the training program cost.

Purpose:

Evaluations and Consultations are not designed to actually accomplish training, but rather to help you determine which training class or program is an appropriate starting point for you and your dog. If you are specifically signing up for an Evaluation to see how your dog might respond to a class setting, we will also bring out some other dogs to help determine if your dog is likely to display any reactive or disruptive behavior. If you are doing an Evaluation with us to get approval to bypass class prerequisites, we will also take some time to allow you to demonstrate what your dog knows so far,. If you are coming for a Consultation, we will spend the majority of the time discussing your dog’s behavior in detail, any prior training experience you or you dog has, your goals, an overview of some of the techniques we may use to help you reach those goals, and the many other factors relevant to dog behavior and training. We will discuss training program options, and I will make recommendations on which program I think would be best based on the information I’ve been given. The Consultation or Evaluation also serves as an opportunity for your dog to meet me and see the training facility with no pressure to perform training right away.

Availability and Payment:

Both Evaluations and Consultations can be scheduled any time we have openings in our schedule. At this time, in-home Evals and Consults are not available - they must be done at the training facility. Payment is due at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy: Payment for the evaluations and consultations is non-refundable if you should choose to cancel your appointment. Evals and Consults can be rescheduled once, as long as at least 24 hours advance notice is given. If canceled/rescheduled within 24 hours, or if rescheduled more than once, payment will be required again before rescheduling. Some exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for emergencies or extenuating circumstances.
