Ready to get started?

Please note: I do not have office staff to respond to emails, texts, messages, and phone calls - I am hands on training and teaching every day, which would be a full time job without the administrative work, scheduling, responding to inquiries, etc. Sometimes I have multiple days in a row that I have no time to sit down at my computer to do any office work. When my office time is limited, my current clients are given priority over new client inquiries.

Please don’t be surprised if it takes me a week or so to respond to your initial contact. I can’t guarantee an immediate response to your initial inquiry, but I can guarantee that once you get started with training, you’ll be given priority to ensure you have the support you need!

Thank you for understanding.

New Client Contact Form

For many clients, the best way to get started with us is to fill out and submit our New Client Contact Form below. This detailed form gives us information that will help us get to know you and your dog(s). If you are wanting to pursue individual training, this is the information we need to then get you started with programs like our private lessons, day training, or board and train. If you’re not sure what program is best for your dog, this form will give us a good idea of what to recommend, or what additional information we might need to help you make the best decision for your dog.

If you have more than one dog you are looking to train, fill out the initial form for one dog, and an Additional Dog form for each additional dog.

PLEASE NOTE: I regularly have issues with clients not receiving my replies to their contact forms. Please be sure to add the email address info.canineinitiative@gmail.com to your contacts so that the email does not go to spam, or be sure to check your spam folder.

Please give me a week or so to reply, but feel free to check in again if you still haven't received a reply after that point!

Group Class Registration and Contact List

If you know that you are wanting to pursue a group class with your dog, you do not necessarily need to fill out the New Client Contact Form.

You can find our upcoming/current session of classes at the link below. If registration is still open for the current session, you’ll find links to register online.

If classes are already started and the next session is not yet open for registration, I keep a contact list of those interested in signing up for the next session of classes. Those on my contact list will receive an email with class schedules and registration information for the upcoming session of classes a day or two before registration becomes available publicly.

To be added to the Group Class Contact List, simply shoot an email to me at info.canineinitiative@gmail.com and ask to be put on the contact list!

Find Our Facility

CANINE INITIATIVE TRAINING
22590 Scotts Lane
Tremont, IL 61568

Mapping systems have trouble locating our address, so you’ll want to search for Canine Initiative Training rather than searching for our physical address. I recommend using Apple Maps or Google Maps.

The maps here on the website and on our Facebook page should be linked to our correct location.

If you have any trouble finding the facility, please reach out! You can call or text me at 309-241-6261.

Directions from I-155:

Take Exit 22 towards Townline Road

Head West on Townline Road

(Directionally challenged? If you’re coming from the north, that would be a Right turn onto Townline Rd. If you’re coming from the south, that’s a Left turn.)

Go one mile on Townline Road, then turn Left (South) onto Locust Road.

Go one mile on Locust Road, then turn Right (West) onto Scotts Lane.

On Scotts Lane, you’ll continue past the first two houses. As you continue back, you’ll see the training building. All training will be held in the training building, not the house located at the same address.

Please Note: On Locust Road, just before you reach Scotts Lane, there is a “Scott Road” that goes to the left. This is NOT the correct direction. Keep going a bit farther, and you’ll find Scotts Lane on the right just before the machine shed and grain bins.

If you would like specific directions coming from a different direction, please don’t hesitate to ask. ☺
